Zakat · 2.5% on nisab
Zakat Calculator — Saudi Arabia
Calculate 2.5% Zakat on your Zakatable wealth above nisab. Zakat is due when wealth held for one lunar year meets the nisab threshold.
How is this calculated?
Zakat = max(0, Assets − Liabilities − Nisab) × 2.5%. Nisab = 85g of 24K gold OR 595g of silver (whichever is used as the basis).
Notes
- Some scholars use silver nisab (more conservative — lower threshold, more Zakat). Default uses gold nisab; switch to silver if you follow that view.
- A lunar year (haul) of holding is required. This calculator does not check haul — pay Zakat on assets you have held for a year.
